A much sought after re-release after a cheeky bootleg was created by Vandit superstars; Filo & Peri. With Armin van Buuren all over the bootleg, playing it at countless gigs and numerous times on his A State of Trance radioshow the demand for this re-release has been nothing short of huge
The 2010 mixes see Darren Tate once again cast his magical touch and add his 2010 flavour to the mix. Adding to that, the much sought after Filo & Peri revival (as championed by Armin van Buuren) is joined by a driving tech trance rework from Corderoy. Another up and coming big name is Arty who has been producing countless trance anthems of late for labels such as Anjunabeats and Enhanced. Here Arty adds his unique touch and creates a massive uplifting prog-house moment. Finally we also welcome Mark White, who delivers a unique take on this classic in the form a big room house moment. A mouth-watering package I think you will agree, this is definitely one to watch this summer!
It goes without saying that the package wouldn’t be complete without the gracious vocals of Shirley Randall riding amongst the mixes, so expect the full vocal mixes with this major re-release.

The global success of Filo & Peri’s who last year brought us their debut artist album ‘NIGHTPLAY’ on VANDIT continues to grow. It’s not been long since their last single picked from the album appeared on the white and blue sleeves with ‘Soul and the Sun’. The new decade brings more audio delights from the duo who hails from the engrossing surroundings of New York. They are ready to let the next one ‘Off The Hook’.
It will be another appearance for the duo’s long-time childhood friend Eric Lumiere who has put his unique vocal talent to some of their biggest recordings to date. He’s racking up the tracks now after the huge Billboard charted tune ‘Anthem’ of 2007 which thrust Filo & Peri into the limelight for which they have never shifted out of. They will be pushing into this year on a real roll of momentum after such an impacting debut artist album.
When we said they are letting their latest one ‘Off The Hook’ We hope you excuse the pun but that’s the name of their next single to be taken from ‘NIGHTPLAY’. The record is a full flowing melodic journey from start to finish with delicate chords and sweeping riffs meeting to create a deep moving atmosphere. Splitting into two subtle flavours with a Vocal Mix as the track appeared on the album and a Dub edition for those looking for a sweeping emotional feel all the way through with the vocal added in. It’s a different side of Filo & Peri but one which will set your ears alight.
Adding some rock injected house flavour to this new release is a ripping remix from fellow stateside residents D-Xtreme and Nology. It’s a duo to remix a duo and these House addicts have thrown up a remix here that will rumble those audio senses into submission.
The forthcoming year will be as busy and big as they one just gone before the New York pair of Filo & Peri. VANDIT is only too happy to get the ball rolling.. and rolling and rolling!
